Our accommodation – either in the beautiful zen-temple, built in original Japanese style, where one sleeps in a dormitory on a Futon and Tatami, or else in the newly renovated main building in a double or single room – is of very high standard and    state of the art!

From most of the rooms one enjoys superb views. The entire complex here was built with a lot of love, sensitivity and with visionary leadership and is also lead so. An excellent place to recuperate from the stresses and strains of daily life.

Garden at Felsentor  Sleeping room at Felsentor

We will enjoy our meals in the liberally built living room in the main building with superb views down to lake lucerne and the alps surrounding us, decorated with beautiful orchids and Japanese traditional paintings. To dine in the midst of such magical nature will not only quicken your appetite but also stimulate your senses.

The much acclaimed, excellent and versatile vegetarian-vegan dishes, lovingly prepared by our master cook Susanne and master pastry chef Stephen are all organic and come mostly from our own garden ‘Frohmatte’, complemented by organic produce from the region. Meanwhile their recipes have found expression in their own cookery book, which you can bring home with you after the retreat if you wish.

Work as Meditative Practice

Half an hour to an hour of work per day in the house or garden is an integral part of the course. This helps to keep the fees for food and accommodation comparatively low.
